I'm Joao Veloso, a multifaceted artist from Brasília, who designs and produces cultural projects, I also do technique, lighting and occasionally I am a musician.
Fiz the musical direction of the shows “Na Trilha do Treasure”, by Grupo Oficina de Brincar; “Sonho de A Midsummer Night ” and “Domingo sem Chuva” by the Celeiro das Antas Theater Group. I composed the soundtrack for the show “Na Trilha do Treasury”.
I make puppets, scenic material and electro/electronic equipment for theater.
Atuo since 2003, and since 2010 I have been researching the language of Clown and Puppetry.
As Clown Presuntinho, I participated in the clown band "Brincantes do Gama", between 2011 and 2012. I premiered the show "Aniversário - Um Palhaço em Cena", my first solo. The show had its premiere in 2013, having then participated in some important festivals, such as: FESTCLOWN in 2014;21st Mostra Dulcina in 2015(both in Brasília/DF); and, an international festival, the Gulangyu Brazilian Music Week in Winter, in CHINA, in 2014.
